Mount Vernon faculty, staff, and parent coaches are excited to host yet another season of Girls on the Run.
Girls on the Run is a program that inspires girls in grades 3-5 to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Each week, there are two lessons designed to help girls recognize their inner strength and encourage positive emotional, social, and mental development. The physical development comes with the incorporation of games and activities that help the girls prepare to run a 5K race at the end of the season.
