We are excited to ready ourselves for Middle School Teacher Sharing Conference Day on November 14. In this conference, your child’s Homebase (grade 5)/Community Leader (grades 6-8) will highlight your child’s progress and learning-- from his/her and the teachers’ points of view-- as well as provide you with a summary report including comments from your child and all core academic teachers. Students will not have school on this day, and you will have an opportunity to share with your Homebase/Community Leader if you would like for your child to be in attendance for all or part of your conference.
To sign up for your Teacher Sharing Conference with your Homebase/Community Leader in PowerSchool:
- Sign in to the PowerSchool web portal using your parent login (not your student’s login)
- Click on the “Schedule a Conference” button to log in to the Conference Manager
- Select your child’s Homebase/Community Leader’s name, and select a time slot
- Here are additional instructions to help, if needed.
This day is reserved for meeting with Homebase/Community leaders only. You are welcome to schedule an individual conference with any of your child’s teachers at any point throughout the semester.
If you would like additional information to better understand your child’s learning progress via PowerSchool, please use this What’s In a Grade guide created by grade 6 teacher, Jayne Liu. If you have any questions or need assistance, please call 404-252-3448 or email Gianne Demeritte, Middle School Executive Assistant.
Yours in Partnership,
Angél W. Kytle, Ph.D.
