Please join us for Parent University: Interim Term Information Session for parents AND students/Q&A on Thursday, September 6, at 6:00 p.m. beginning in the Glenn Campus Lightbox to learn more about Interim Term 2019...travel, internships, and CORE.
While the travel opportunities available to our Upper School students are outstanding, there are many additional enriching experiences available to students who do not choose to travel.
Director of Interim Term Meg Brown will share a general overview of ALL Interim programs, and details about the trip registration process, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Glenn Campus Lightbox.
Learn more about the new registration process here.
6:15 p.m. Families will have an opportunity to learn more about their choice of four specific trips on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Upper School building, rotating between four, 20-minute sessions. Each trip will have a designated classroom, with trip leaders present to answer questions.
6:35 p.m. Families interested in learning more about the Internship and CORE programs are invited to join Meg Brown in the Lightbox.
In addition, Mount Vernon is offering limited financial assistance to families for Interim Term Travel. If you would like to apply for financial assistance for travel, an application form will be available on the Interim section of LookUp on Friday, September 7 and must be completed by Friday, September 14. Please note: the student, as well as one parent, is required to complete different sections of the application. Completing this application does not guarantee financial assistance. Applicants will be notified on September 20, whether or not they have been awarded financial assistance for Interim Term 2019.
