To commemorate and honor those that lost their lives on September 11, 2001, Helping Hands Day is a day of school-wide community service. The goal is to provide support to our community while teaching our students the value of selflessness, compassion and responsibility. Students have volunteered at nursing homes, nature preserves, emergency shelters, food banks, children’s hospitals and donation centers, just to name a few. Our students learn that even small hands can make a big difference!
The School also holds a variety of collection drives throughout the year which have included supporting our sister school in Zambia, a Toys for Tots drive, canned food drive, blood drive, and a student-choice drive.
