Young Life - We have a vibrant Young Life club for high school students at Mount Vernon Presbyterian School. Meetings are every Thursday night at various students’ houses. Also, MV students have the opportunity to go to Young Life camps in December and July. For more information, you can email our Young Life leader, Ryan Curia ([email protected]).
Young Life – A Way of Life
Young Life at Mount Vernon
There are four schools in the Perimeter North Chapter of Young Life: MVPS, Dunwoody, Marist, and Chamblee. Once a month all four come together.
A team of six leaders―five volunteer and one staff―supports Upper School students at sporting events, at lunch and at other events, locations on the weekends – just to hang out. Club is a safe place for kids to come, have some fun, and hear a simple message about Jesus. Hopefully it’s the part of the week that kids look forward to the most. Come and join at anytime!
About Ryan Curia
"I serve on staff for Young Life at Mount Vernon. I was born in Marietta, grew up outside of Chicago, and graduated from the University of Georgia last May. My wife, Emily, and I got married in July, and she is one of the volunteer leaders who serves alongside me. I came to Christ through Young Life in high school and served as a volunteer leader in college. My email is [email protected] ― feel free to reach out anytime if you have any questions about Young Life at Mount Vernon. I’d be glad to help!"
FCA - Each year we have a group of high school student leaders that plan and organize monthly meetings during lunch and enrichment time periods. There are also teacher sponsors for this group that help students with the planning and promotion. For more information, you can contact Brian Burchik ([email protected])
