My name is Ryan Hart, Director of Sports Medicine here at Mount Vernon Presbyterian School. I would like to extend each of you a warm welcome from the Mount Vernon Sports Medicine Department. A brief introduction about myself. I am a licensed and certified athletic trainer. Graduate of Delta State University earning a B.S. in Athletic Training and a B.S. in Exercise Physiology. Received fellowship training under a shoulder and elbow orthopaedic surgeon from Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in 2012-2013. Joined Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta - Scottish Rite, Sports Medicine Department in January of 2014. Hired as Director of Sport Medicine at Mount Vernon Presbyterian School in 2017.
Our team physicians this year are Dr. Cliffton Willimon and Dr. Steve Kroll, of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Dr. Willimon is an orthopaedic surgeon with speciality training in hip, knee, and shoulder injuries. Dr. Kroll is a primary care sports medicine physician specializing in the management of musculoskeletal injuries and concussion. Dr. Kroll also serves as the Medical Director for Mount Vernon Presbyterian School. In addition, Dr. Peljovich serves as our team hand and upper extremities surgeon. Dr. Kroll, Dr. Willimon, and Dr. Peljovich have been an exemplary addition to the Sports Medicine Department here at Mount Vernon.
