At Mount Vernon, we seek to shape the whole person.
Forming close relationships with students, counselors partner with families and faculty to further the development of each student -- socially, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and academically.
The Counseling Resource Center at Mount Vernon supports the School's mission and is dedicated to working with all students in the school community. Our department provides resources for students, parents, faculty, and staff as it strives to serve the individual needs of each student and staff member.
Our staff provides individual counseling, small group counseling, large group guidance, parent conferences, professional referrals, intervention, and testing support. Counselors offer consultation and advisement with students, parents, faculty, and outside professionals to further the development of the students socially, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and academically. We partner with our Academic Resource department regarding testing support.
The doors to our offices are always open to assist students in each division. Please lean on our expertise for answers, support, resources, and connecting with students.
