To All Grades 3-8 Families:
As part of our comprehensive assessment system for measuring student progress and evaluating curriculum, we administer the Educational Records Bureau (ERB) CTP-Online. This is a vigorous standardized assessment of student achievement in English language arts, mathematics, and reasoning. The CTP-Online furnishes the School with individualized data about student performance and is critical in helping to guide learning.
Students in grades 3 and 4 will take the CTP-Online the mornings of January 31, February 1, 6 and 7. Make up testing will be held on February 5 and 9, if needed.
Students in grades 5-8 will take the CTP-Online February 1-2 and 6-7, beginning promptly at 7:50 a.m. and concluding around 9:30 a.m. Make up testing will be held on February 8 and 9, if needed.
Pencils and scratch paper will be provided.
Like every day, it is important that children eat a healthy, protein-rich breakfast after a good night's rest. Please also pack a healthy snack to keep brains alert and focused during testing.
Middle School students should bring their fully-charged Chromebook.
Your child’s ERB - CTP Online report will be mailed home mid-to-late March. On Thursday, April 5, we invite you to join us in the Founders Campus Fellowship Hall for a Parent University with a representative from ERB to learn more about the CTP-Online and to receive guidance on reading your individualized student reports.
