The Mount Vernon Presbyterian School Early Learning Center serves children from six weeks of age through 2 years of age as of September 1.
At Mount Vernon, we believe that children learn best when encouraged to make discoveries about the world around them, and when their teachers engage and challenge them through meaningful experiences. Nationally accredited by NAEYC (the National Association for the Education of Young Children), the Early Learning Center strives to provide our children and families with an early school experience that fosters the development of each child’s natural interests and curiosities. Our small class sizes and low teacher:child ratios allow us to provide an individualized approach to learning and curriculum that puts your child at the center of his or her own learning journey.
The Early Learning Center is open from August-May, and follows the Mount Vernon Presbyterian School calendar for breaks and teacher professional learning days. The Early Learning Center is open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for part time students and 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for full time students. Early drop off is available for both full and part time students beginning at 7:30 at no additional fee.
