As our varsity football team gears up to face Landmark Christian Academy on Friday, September 22 at 4:30 p.m. on the Glenn Campus field for Homecoming 2017, we await the return of many of our MV alums and their families.
In what has become a tradition, Mount Vernon Mustangs show their spirit during the week leading up to Homecoming, by dressing up.
Upper School Dress Up Days
Monday: Holiday Day (Christmas, Easter, Fourth of July, etc.)
Tuesday: Initial Day (example: Krista - kangaroo, Ben - bear)
Wednesday: Disney Day (characters)
Thursday: Life Day (Freshmen: babies, Sophomores: teens, Juniors: adults [Mom/Dad], Seniors: senior citizens)
Friday: Camouflage Day
Preschool/Lower School/Middle School Dress Up Days
Monday: Crazy Hair/Hat Day
Tuesday: Mix & Match Day (example: stripes with polka-dots)
Wednesday: MV Spirit Day
Thursday: Jersey Day
Friday: Camouflage Day (olive green, tan, neon orange)
4:00 p.m. Spirit Shop Opens
4:15 p.m. Mustang Walk with Drumline
4:30 p.m. Kickoff: Mount Vernon vs. Landmark Christian Academy
Halftime: Homecoming Court Presentation and Announcement of King and Queen
Lower School students and their families are invited to join together on the Glenn Campus to cheer on the Mustangs and eat a picnic dinner together when Mount Vernon's varsity football team plays Landmark Christian Academy on Friday, September 22.

Homecoming tickets ($20 each) will be on sale from September 15 - 22 in the cafeteria during both lunches (tickets will not be sold at the door).
If a student is bringing an outside date, a required form (found at the front desk or in the cafeteria) must be submitted by Thursday, September 21.
The dress code is semi-formal.
